Festive Seasons

October 3rd, 2011

One of the best things of living in a multi-racial country is the PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. I think I read it somewhere that Malaysia is one of the countries that has got the most public holidays in the world. Last Saturday, Sabah had its Public Holiday, the birthday of Sabah State’s TYT. Deepavali is coming up on the 26th October. Of course those who only works 5 days a week would wish that this holiday falls on a Friday or a Monday instead.

Time passes us by and there’s no way that we can turn back the time. Memories would be what left of for us to remember those precious moments. Christmas photo cards would be one of those things that we should cherish. In this digital era, we hardly get any letters or paper cards in the mailbox, just bills! I really miss those times, those moments when you get a letter or a postcard from a pen-pal. The collections of stamps from all over the world.

The little things that I used to take for granted is now becoming more important as I aged. A sure sign that I am growing old. But who cares, I am always young at heart, no matter what. Cheers!
