Two weeks ago, I started to join the X45 cross-fit training sessions by Core Fitness Kota Kinabalu for the past 2 weeks. I did miss a few sessions though, unfortunately for me. For once, I found a workout regime that I look forward to go daily! My friends and I are really enjoying the sessions, despite being out of breath after every session.
Now that we found the workout that we can enjoy, the problem now is saying a big fat NO to greasy, tasty food! I will ask my friends to click here for appetite suppressants so that we can achieve our 3-months health goal. We want to be fit and looking healthy, not skinny like a stick! Maybe it would be a good idea to start making a photo diary for our progress.
Let’s hope that this time, we will have the will and discipline for the leaner bodies of ours.

I cried myself to sleep and started crying again this morning … all because of you Balang ….

Yes, Balang was a cat. An ordinary kampung cat. People who have never loved any animal would most likely think that I’m crazy and wasting my time over a dead cat. People will tell me that I can always get another one. But those who have pets in their lives would know how special each and every animal to them!
Balang with his usual pose – sleeping comfortably
He was my “outside” cat, for he was the only one that was allowed to roam free, being the stray cat he was that found his way to my place and made it his home too. From a wild cat, he turned into a loving cat and faithful cat. He was always there, waiting for me. He’d follow me and my partner and also my sister when we went to Grandma’s across the road. He had this habit of getting on the car’s rooftop and sat there quietly, while we moved back and forth between my house and Grandma’s.
He would sit quietly next to me whenever I sit on the staircase, tapping away on my phone. He craved for attention, for some petting whenever I was around. He even squeezed his way through the wiremesh into my verandah where I keep the other 5 cats for he wanted some petting too! He would inched his way into the enclosure where I keep the other 4 cats at Grandma’s. He would play in the midst of the grass, wanting to play hide and seek with us.
Last night, we lost him. He usually would stop with me and looked for the passing cars left and right until it was safe to cross the road. Somehow, he leapt in front of a double cab and got himself hit, right in front of my eyes! I couldn’t do a thing, I could only screamed out his name and went into a short shock. I am still crying while writing this in memory of him. I hope he knew that he was loved dearly.
Goodbye Balang, rest in peace and I hope it wasn’t too painful for you.

I’d say, the short form was aptly selected! The annoying FnCk3d UP Mode! Yes, my iPhone 4 has crashed and could not exit the DFU mode, or in full, Device Firmware Update. iTunes kept on timing out on me, so I guess I’d have to try again tomorrow. A day without my phone! I don’t really mind that, but again, I DON’T WANT TO LOSE ALL THE CONTACTS AND PHOTOS YET ONCE AGAIN!
Losing the contacts and photos happened to me before with my HTC HD phone, and you’d think I’d learned my lesson! Nuh uh… it happened again. Grrrr!!!
As much as I am annoyed at the moment, I just hope that I will be able to find a solution for this problem and have my iPhone up and running again soon! Sending it to some shop for repair is seriously my last resort!

Chelsea lost. Yes. But I don’t get any Monday blues due to this match. I guess I am just not keen on football anymore, just as I have lost my interest with futsal too. Slowly but definitely, my interests are evolving as time goes by.
It was a long weekend, and I was expecting that I’d be having a nice, comfortable, clean house. But alas, plan changed. I did have a nice Saturday though, slept the day away! I felt as if it’s been such a long time since I had a lazy day such as that. Did the laundry, which reminded me of the water tank problem. My father keep on switching off the supply from the meter, I just wish he’d go and get some steel drums to replace the rusty ones at home that keeps on leaking.
More house chores to be done … I keep on wondering why others can keep their home spotlessly clean at all time but I seem to be having the problem to do so. Oh well.. Have a great week ahead!

Tomorrow’s a public holiday in conjuction with Malaysia Day, THE day Sabah gained its independence through the formation of Malaysia. Being Friday and me having my Saturday off, makes it a very welcoming long weekend. Time for some pampering for myself, the house and the car!
My car haven’t been moved from the porch for exactly a week now. When I was cleaning the floor mats last week, I noticed that it’s high time to have one of them replaced. I’m thinking of maybe getting the beige-coloured subaru floor mats for a change. Getting seat covers would be another good idea. But with limited budget, one thing at a time.
There will be another open house for me to go to get my face stuffed, and a karaoke and more eating session later at night. But I better be careful since I plan on losing some kilos within the next 2 weeks. I don’t want my effort for joining the X45 classes, the cross training at Core Fitness will bear no fruit in the end.
Enjoy your weekend! Rest well everyone.
