Anything Is Possible?

January 14th, 2011

As I sit here typing away on my trusty laptop, I saw this Astro Byond’s advertisement – nice tagline; “Anything is possible” and “If you have the magic, you can do it, anything is possible” or something like that. Nanti sia ubah lagi bila sia dapat tingu tu iklan and kasi sure, okay? LOL!

Yes, I believe that anything is possible when the mind is set for something, just a matter of when, how and mostly… IF you have the money for it! :P I would seriously love to elaborate more on that money part, relating it to the new 2011 Budget, but I do not need to get into trouble now. LOL! I am already deep in trouble as it is.

However, getting an online business degree is something achievable. Especially in today’s technology. I would love to get my degree in future, just for self satisfaction. We never stop learning as long as we’re alive anyway. The only thing that is stopping me today from getting it is my laziness and of course, financially. Ah… what’s new!

Well, I should be getting to bed now. 10 minutes passed midnight already. I need a good rest in preparation for another interview later in the morning. Pray for me and wish me luck with all these job hunting, please….

Sucked In!

January 13th, 2011

I’ve been sucked in into the world of games in Facebook – again! I quit playing Farmville months ago, I think at level 25 and now, here comes the Cityville and I’m in again! *roll eyes* With better internet connection, nothing much to do, couldn’t go out much with the financial being on the really tight side, that’s about the only entertainment that I could afford and enjoy.

I was also beginning to got so into those checking-in game, Foursquare, but I couldn’t do that much now that I’ve unsubscribed to Digi Unlimited Mobile Internet Plan :( Those gps thingy uses internet connection, so does the rest of any mobile internet activities. On a brighter side, I’m thankful that I’m a Digi customer, because I can still access Zero Facebook on the go :P Yes, I have a boring life at the moment, hence all those boring activities to keep me entertained ;)

It is a month where I really downgraded my lifestyle. Converted my postpaid Maxis service to prepaid, unsubscribed  to mobile internet, got the home phone disconnected for good, too.  Now that Mom has got her own Astro service at her rented apartment, I am the one responsible to pay for the ones at the family home.  Fund is  really getting dangerously low,  I hope and pray as well as trying my best to get myself employed soon. 6 months of self-employed, not so bad eh? But only those who are close to me knows all the things that I went through, especially those individuals that help me get through this ordeal. Thank you so much, I am forever indebted to you!! Hopefully the business will  pick up its pace this year too.

Hey, it’s time for neighbourly visits in Cityville – be back in a bit! :P

Big Screen For Home Movies Is IN

January 4th, 2011

Whenever I go out with my cousin-cum-good-friend, Tabz, and always we will go pass the TV section and looks on those big ass TV screens … and how we wish that we could get one of those and bring it home with us! I got myself a 32″ LCD TV about more than a year ago, because that was all I could afford. And here I am at home, enjoying the movie, the original version of Incredible Hulk – thinking; isn’t it nice if I have at least a canon projector to enjoy this movie even more….

We kept saying that we are the kind of people who would love to get all those gadgets to keep us occupied at home, entertaining ourselves at home… what does that say about us? Anti-socials, of course! LOL! When others are trying to find some other activities to get themselves out of their homes, we, on the other hand, trying our best to get our homes equipped with all the entertainment that would make us WANT to stay home instead. :D One of it is of course, big screen TV … yes, it is the IN thing :)

Get It Going!

January 4th, 2011

January 2011 is here, it just means that playtime for myself is over! It’s time to get going and get myself employed :P Apart from that, business have to prosper, which means hard work all round the clock to make ends meet and to finally have that success in my grasp. I have yet to clear off those stuff that I don’t need at home, I might sell them in an online auction as well. Someone’s trash could be another’s treasure, right? LOL!

For now, my daily routine would be getting the newspaper early in the morning, looks for some job advertisements and apply when applicable. I would seriously prefer to search for jobs online, but unfortunately, the employers around here still prefers the old, classic way of job advertising – through the good ol’ printed newspapers. Wish me luck my friends; hopefully the next job that I land on would be much preferable than the last one. I sure would love to stick on a job rather than keep on going on the job hunting LOL! The faster I settle down on the job, the quicker I get to concentrate on building up my business. Yep, still need to work for someone else in the meantime to ensure regular cash flow in to pay the bills and debts :)

The Cute Things About Kids…..

January 3rd, 2011

Most people like kids, though there are those minority that does not. I, for one, loves them to bits. Ermmm specifically those 7 years and below LOL! I found them cute, the way they look when all dressed up and the things they says. Just look at Jayzell in the photo below, looking cool with his hip hop clothes and boy, does he knows how to pose for the camera!

Another thing is a funny thing said by my nephew, my first cousin’s son :) But the conversation has to be published in the Sabahan’s slang as per the original conversation to have the funni-ness intact :D This happened when the kid was supposed to be weighed out for the first day of school as the mom saw her son frolicking around outside the classroom..

Mommy: Anguh (nickname), ko sudah timbang beratkah?(Anguh, have you been weigh out already?)

Manguh: Aku inda payah bah, aku ringan….(I don’t have to, I’m not heavy)

So the mom asked the teacher;

Mommy: Cikgu (teacher), Adry sudah timbang berat? (Teacher, has Adry been weigh out?)

Teacher: Belum lagi, tadi saya panggil-panggil, dia tidak jawab… (not yet, I kept on calling him just now, but he did not answer)

Mommy: Ooooo patutlah, dia bilang dia ringan, inda payah timbang “berat” .. (Oooo no wonder, he said he is not heavy, no need to be weigh out for weight)..

Ahhh… kids definitely are funny and cute! LOL!
