As I drove passed by Tanjung Likas, I usually see some tourists setting up their expensive DSLR cameras, while some holding their waterproof binoculars near the swamp area for bird watching. It’s a nice thing to do, though it’s not really what I called my passion When my cousin/friend, Tabz, was working at the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Centre , then Kota Kinabalu Birds Sanctuary, I used to visit her there and looked around watching bird while waiting for her to get off work. After that, I never set foot on that area again, and maybe it’s about time I do again.

Day in, day out, I’m getting myself closer to nature. I find that nature gives me more peace of mind than all these so called worldly assets. Interacting with animals, nature is much better than with fellow human beings too I think I am going down the road towards being an…… Anti-Social! Why? Let’s just say that my recent life experiences made me a better and yet, at the same time, somewhat a bitter person towards a certain thing.  So nature, here I come!
