As I drove passed by Tanjung Likas, I usually see some tourists setting up their expensive DSLR cameras, while some holding their waterproof binoculars near the swamp area for bird watching. It’s a nice thing to do, though it’s not really what I called my passion 
When my cousin/friend, Tabz, was working at the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Centre , then Kota Kinabalu Birds Sanctuary, I used to visit her there and looked around watching bird while waiting for her to get off work. After that, I never set foot on that area again, and maybe it’s about time I do again.
Day in, day out, I’m getting myself closer to nature. I find that nature gives me more peace of mind than all these so called worldly assets. Interacting with animals, nature is much better than with fellow human beings too 
I think I am going down the road towards being an…… Anti-Social! Why? Let’s just say that my recent life experiences made me a better and yet, at the same time, somewhat a bitter person towards a certain thing. So nature, here I come!

Zapppsss! That’s how the time passed me by! How come when I am not working, enjoying my daily life dilly-dallying about with my chores, time just seems to pass by way faster? 
But at the same time, the worries starts to double itself … I really need to get myself hired. Used up all the savings, the funding … and business is not picking itself up yet.. but who’s to blame? Me and myself alone I have not done much on that area yet. I just seem to stop networking with my acquaintance altogether.
I know I should not worry, but being a human being, I just could not help it. Nevertheless, I will try my best to lessen the worry by remembering the following bible phrase:
Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (Matt. 6:26-27)
Yes, that’s all I have now. Faith. The only thing that keep on saving me ……

4.30 a.m. and I am still wide awake. No sign of getting sleepy yet, well, maybe a bit. I’d say most of bloggers have blogged about their bouts of insomnia in one time or another. I am no exception. Yes, it’s boring, but what else should we do eh?
I am physically and mentally tired, not to mention emotionally too… but hell, I still couldn’t sleep. Reading upon alli reviews does gave me some information that I need … yes, I need something to help blocked out the fat from residing in my body … I can’t seem to lose weight despite the fact that I exercise, and I don’t eat THAT much either, nor do I get a proper rest…. and nope, still not losing weight. I’m tired of looking like a hag, just because I gained weight. I’m tired of people addressing me as a much older person than I am actually are.. having a woman around my age calling me “Aunty” is not pleasant – no, not when I am as about the same age as they are, not when I am still single! Grrrrr!!! Don’t they know it’s impolite to address someone like that, it can be offending? Why couldn’t they just call a woman, MS. rather than MRS and AUNTY? Damn insulting, I must say. It does little to my self confidence, except for crushing it!
If I were living far from grandma, then I would’ve have lost a lot of weight months ago because I have no means to buy all those nice food that I used to have. But I could be a freeloader and grandma would happily let me…. I do buy some groceries for grandma at times when I got some money though. With all the worries in my head, something else have been added to top it off last night. Ahhh… how wonderful my life would me .. someone who matter seem to be able to offer their understanding… NOT! I look around and yes, it seems that it is going to be a long, lonely journey.

3rd week of January 2011, and I am still unemployed despite all the interviews that I went to. Most of the time, it’s not that because I do not fit the criteria, they were honest with me, telling me that my experience is impressive, but they could not afford to pay my salary. Most of the posts available are for ‘beginners’, not ’seasoned’ player like me
I was actually planning on losing the weight-loss that I gained again during Christmas last week, but alas, seems like I’m going to need weight loss vitamins to help me with the process – AGAIN! Weekend was spent stuffing myself with Kadazan’s traditional food. Grandma made ‘Nanggiu’ on Friday, ‘Nantung’ for lunch on Saturday, Sunday and yesterday we made ‘Tulivot’ for supper. Grandma’s cooking are well known here in our neighbourhood, so we are glad that she passed us the recipes, so to speak
Nanggiu – a Kadazan dessert made from sago flour, cooked with coconut milk and palm sugar
Nantung; the gooey-like thing with chopstick on it! This is also made from sago flour, cooked with hot, boiling water. Best eaten with the traditional sour-savoury fish soup cooked with “takob-akob, called pinasakan
Tulivot, shaped like the local Curry Puff, but with fried coconut shavings on the inside. Best eaten while hot!
I’m going to continue making more today as there were a lot more of fried coconut shavings left If I have the energy! LOL!

A somewhat busy Saturday, yes, that’s what today’s going to be Sending off the male dog, Two, back to its owner soon; we kept the dog for a week to keep the female, Collie, company 
In the afternoon, I will do some baking later too, don’t want to have the eggs goes bad if I keep them too long. It seems that I never do any cooking anymore, so might as well use the eggs for baking. My cousins will be at grandma’s today, so I’m sure I’ll have enough guinea pigs to give me the feedback that I need.
A wedding reception of an ex-colleague will be held in the evening, I wish I have a camcorder to bring along and blog about it later. I don’t even have digicam at the moment, and my phone’s camera aren’t that trustworthy especially at night. I’m sure the wedding reception will go on at least until 10 p.m. tonight, so there goes my whole Saturday
Yes, definitely going to be a busy Saturday, but still an enjoyable one!
